Patient List |
The Patient List screen form allows you to see and modify the list of patients, switch to their Medical Records and request diagnostic researches for them.
The patients' information is shown in the table. There is a page browsing facility at the bottom of the table. Clicking on the number will bring you to a page with the corresponding number.
The patients shown in the table are sorted alphabetically by their full names. The sorting order can be temporarily broken if you've just edited some patient's name or entered a new patient. It will restore automatically when you revisit the form.
Press the Edit button to edit the patient's general information. This will switch you to an editing mode and text box controls allowing you to edit the data will be displayed for the selected patient. When you've finished with editing press the Save button to save your changes into the database or press the Cancel button to cancel your changes. When you are in editing mode the table is frozen, you can not move to another patient.
Press New button to enter a new patient. This will also bring you to an editing mode and the same rule about the Save and Cancel buttons will apply.
Press Medical records button to switch to a Medical Records form for the selected patient.
Press Delete button to delete the selected patient and all his Medical Records from the database.
Press Research button to start the automated diagnostic process for the selected patient. This will apply Rules of logic and finally bring you to a Conclusion screen.
Edit, Delete, Medical Records and Research buttons are only enabled if some patient is selected in the table. Save and Cancel buttons are only enabled in the editing mode.
When you've finished with the Patient List form you can leave it at any time by choosing other option from the menu at the top of the form. You will also leave it automatically if you've pressed the Research button or Medical Records button.
