Medical Records form |
This screen form allows you to enter or modify patients Medical Records. The screen form can be reached by pressing the Medical Records button on the Patient List form.
The item list shows the Medical Records items in that order: Symptoms, Research results parameters, Investigations, Diagnoses. But it is possible that the list will not be ordered this way if you are in the process of editing it - in this case it will show items in current order (the order how you entered them). The item list however will be put into correct order (the one explained above) every time you press the Save button at the bottom of the screen or simply revisit Medical Records form.
Click on the item in the Item list if you wish to edit it. The controls displayed on the right panel will depend on which item type is currently being edited. When you've finished editing press Save button located on the right panel. If you move in the item list without pressing the right panel Save button your changes will be lost.
Press New button to enter a new item. Then when you've finished entering press Save button located on the right panel. Press Cancel button to cancel entering of a new item.
Press Delete button to delete the current item from the medical records. This button is only enabled if some item is selected.
When you've finished editing the Medical Records press Save button located at the bottom of the screen. This will save all your changes into the database. This will also refresh the item list and put it into the order described above.
Press Research button if you want to launch automated diagnostic process for the patient. This will save all your changes (if there were any) to the database, apply Rules of logic and finally bring you to a Conclusion screen.
There is one exception - if you are working with read-only demo, pressing of the Research button will not save your changes into the database. In this case the diagnostics will be made based on preexisting model data for the patient and not on what you've just entered. The Save button located at the bottom of the screen will not work at all in read-only demo.
Important note: all your changes would be lost if you didn't press either Save button located at the bottom of the screen or Research button. Pressing of the Save button on the right panel only saves the item within the screen temporarily, it does not write anything into the database.
When you've finished with Medical Records form you can leave it at any time by choosing other option from the menu at the top of the form. You will also leave it automatically if you've pressed the Research button.
